New shoes and clothes - Nieuwe schoenen en kleding

Mother and daughter needed new clothes and shoes. Mother wore underwear for years that I had made myself. I still think it's nice but it was time for a dress so she could come out of the bedroom. They also wanted leather shoes instead of the painted porcelain shoes. The child wore a nice pink dress with matching jacket knitted by Thea E. but after years wearing the same she wanted new clothes. The womans dress, pantyhose and leather shoes I myself created. The sides socks and the leather shoe’s for the child I also made. The girl dress is knitted by Thea Evers, also the beautiful jacket on the last photo is knitted by her.
Unfortunely I had no patterns for the dress and shoes so it took some time to finalize.

Now, everybody is very happy and now they wanted to pose for he family photo, see my post below.

Moeder en dochter waren toe aan nieuwe kleding en schoenen. Moeder droeg al jaren ondergoed dat ik zelf had gemaakt. Ik vind het nog steeds mooi maar werd het eens tijd voor een jurk zodat ze uit de slaapkamer kon komen. En ze wilde ook graag lederen schoenen in plaats van de geschilderde porseleinen schoenen. Het kindje droeg een mooi roze jurkje met bijpassend vestje gebreid door Thea E. maar na jaren wilde zij ook wel iets anders. De nieuwe jurk, panty en lederen schoenen heb ik zelf gemaakt. De kanten sokjes en de lederen kinderschoenen heb ik ook zelf gemaakt, het jurkje is gebreid door Thea Evers, ook het mooie jasje op de laatste foto is door haar gebreid. Ik had geen patroontje voor de jurk en de schoenen dus het heeft wel een tijd gekost om het mooi te krijgen.

Maar nu is iedereen tevreden en wilden ze poseren voor de familie foto, zie mijn bericht hieronder.

Meet de family - Maak kennis met de familie

These are the residents of the House: Madeleine (32) and Noëlle (4). They now stay temporary in Grandma's and Grandpa's house because the Dolls House is not yet ready. There is no father in the house, she is a single mother but they don't miss it because they're very happy living together with the animals. Madeleine is her own boss, she has a shop at home and Noëlle is going recently to the kindergarten and she loves Winny the Pooh.

Dit zijn de bewoners van het huis: Madeleine en Noëlle. Ze wonen nu nog in bij oma en opa omdat het poppenhuis nog niet klaar is. Er is geen vader in huis, ze is alleenstaande moeder maar die missen ze niet want samen met de dieren hebben ze een gelukkig leven. Madeleine is haar eigen baas, ze heeft een winkel aan huis en Noëlle gaat sinds kort naar de kleuterschool en ze houdt erg van Winny de Pooh.

These are the main pets of the family: the two Dalmatians Jean-Luc (3) and Bijou (5) and the Main Coon cat (11) who listens to the name Marie-Antoinette.
There are still some other pets such as a goldfish, aquarium fish, a bird and a stray cat but they cann't on the photo now because they are currently staying far away until the dollhouse is more ready.

Dit zijn de belangrijkste huisdieren van het gezin: de twee Dalmatiërs Jean-Luc (3) en Bijou (5) en de Main Coon kat die luistert naar de naam Marie-Antoinette (11). Er zijn nog wat andere dieren zoals een goudvis, aquariumvissen, een vogel en een zwerfkat maar zij kunnen nu niet op de foto omdat zij ergens ver weg logeren totdat het poppenhuis grotendeels klaar is.

These are the grandparents: grandmother Alette (72) and grandfather Jaques (74) with their dear loyal Labrador called: Sebastién. He is 12 years old but still very healthy. They often come to visit the family. Grandma is always happy to help in the kitchen and the store and grandpa loves walking with little Noëlle and the three dogs.
Grandma keeps a family photo in her hand. They are very proud of this photo that's made today and you can view a large version at the top of my blog. This photo will come in the Central Hall to hang out of the Dollhouse.

Dit zijn grootouders: oma Alette (72) en opa Jaques (74) met hun lieve trouwe Labrador die Sebastién heet. Hij is 12 jaar oud dus al op leeftijd maar nog heel gezond. Ze komen vaak op bezoek bij de familie. Oma helpt graag mee in de keuken en de winkel en opa gaat graag wandelen met de kleine Noëlle en de drie honden.
Oma houdt een familiefoto vast in haar hand. Ze zijn heel trots op deze foto die vandaag is gemaakt en je kan een grote versie bekijken bovenaan mijn blog. Deze foto zal in de grote hal komen te hangen van het poppenhuis.

Mice.......Muizen..........

I think I have a predilection for mice. I've made this mouse scale 1:12 a few years ago from Fimo clay. She has a movable body and wears real clothes. About 15 years ago, before I my dollhouse hobby, I started learning working with Fimo. We made bears but I did not like it. The second lesson I started with a mouse and a few weeks later I finished the complete mouse family on ​​a box. The mouse with the baby in the arm can rotate, it has become a music box.

After making the mouse with clothes, I made no more mice​​. But I saw the blog of The Mansion Mouse, and I was completely surprised, what an amazing mice house! The house is three meters high and it has also a backside. It's all made ​​of cheap materials like cardboard and wood but I saw some dollhouse miniatures and lights. Such a large and beautiful house, I obviously can not reproduce it but it has inspired me and maybe this will be my project for 2012, ok...a smaller version and perhaps more organized ;-)

First I buy the book, I look forward to the beautiful scenes that I can dream mouse ...

Ik denk dat ik een voorliefde voor muizen heb. Deze muis 1:12 heb ik een paar jaar geleden gemaakt van fimo klei. Ze heeft een beweegbaar lichaam en heeft echte kleding aan. 15 jaar geleden, nog voordat ik met de poppenhuishobby bezig was, ging ik op Fimo les. Daar maakten ze beren. Maar dat vond ik niet zo leuk. In de 2e les begon ik al met een muis en een paar weken later had ik een muizenfamilie gemaakt op een doos. Het muisje met de baby in de arm kan ronddraaien, het is een muziekdoos geworden.
Na het maken van de muis met kleding heb ik geen muizen meer gemaakt. Maar ik zag het blog van The Mouse Mansion en ik was helemaal betoverd, wat prachtig! Het huis is wel 3 meter hoog en heeft ook een achterzijde. Het is allemaal gemaakt van goedkoop materiaal zoals karton en ik zag ook enkele poppenhuisminiaturen en lampjes. Zo'n groot en mooi huis zal ik natuurlijk nooit kunnen namaken maar het heeft mij wel geinspireerd en misschien wordt dit mijn project voor 2012, wel wat kleiner dan ;-)

Eerst ga ik het boek kopen, ik verheug mij op de mooie muizen taferelen waarbij ik kan wegdromen...

About 8 years ago I made an radio- and musicstore in an old Saba radio. The radio was from my parents and worked perfectly! But I was the lucky one who could deconstruct it for a miniature project. Before my parents had it it was from the upper neighbours (Fam. Schultheis, you can see the name on the window) from my grandmother and grandfather in Germany. Back then my mother was a young lady of 15 years.
The radio is still an object in my private collection, but packed well at a top shelf in a cabin.

On the counter is a small miniature Saba, which was made from a photograph of the large version. Almost every miniature radio and all the miniature radio books are handmade by me, the other ones (one from plastic and one from wood) are bought. I made them from basis materials and therefor I add a simpel workshop for everyone who wants to make an old radio.

Ongeveer 8 jaar geleden heb ik in een oude Saba radio een radio- en muziekwinkel gemaakt. De radio stond bij mijn ouders en werkte nog prima! Toch mocht ik hem slopen voor een miniatuurproject.
De radio was vroeger eigendom van de bovenburen (Fam. Schultheis, je kan de naam zien op het raam van de radiowinkel) van mijn oma en opa in Duitsland. Mijn moeder was toen een jong meisje van 15 jaar.
De radio is nog steeds in mijn bezit maar is hoog in een kast opgeborgen.

Op de toonbank staat een kleine miniatuur Saba, deze heb ik gemaakt van een foto van de grote versie. Vrijwel alle miniatuur radio's en alle radioboekjes heb ik zelf gemaakt, 1 radio is van plastic en 1 andere van hout, beide gekocht. Ik heb ze gemaakt van eenvoudige materialen en zal dan ook een simpel workshopje toevoegen voor wie ook een oude radio wil maken.
